Researcher
PhD in sociology and a master’s degree in sociology from Columbia University, Usa, a master’s degree (M.Phil). Sociologist and Degree in Sociology from the Catholic University of Chile, and Minor Certificate in Linguistics from the Catholic University of Chile. She is currently a researcher on line 5 and Assistant Professor of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
His research areas are disaster sociology, science, technology and society studies, historical sociology. He has received major awards in his academic and professional career such as the Inkeles Award for Excellence among Graduate Students Columbia University, department of Sociology and Stanley Spivack Memorial Fund Award (Cornerhouse Award), Columbia University, Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.
