Researcher
Doctor in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and Assistant Professor of the Anthropology Program at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She works at the Center for Intercultural and Indigenous Studies (CIIR). Among his areas of interest are the person-society relationship, the understanding of otherness, the epistemology-ontology distinction based on various forms of local knowledge, and intercultural relationships. He is currently conducting research on different meeting dynamics around notions related to knowledge of fire and forest fires.
Author of Los mapuche y sus otros. Person, otherness and society in southern Chile (Editorial Universitaria, Santiago, 2016).
