Researcher
Patricio Winckler is a Civil Engineer and has completed postgraduate studies in Spain, Finland, England and the United States. In 2005 he joined the Ocean Engineering group at Valparaíso University, and in 2015 he obtained his doctorate at Cornell University, United States. He has been a visiting professor at Harvard University, the National University of Singapore and the University of Tokyo, sponsored by international and national scholarships. His interests span a wide range of topics related to engineering, arts and philosophy of science. He has been involved in more than 80 engineering projects, published papers, books and given conferences in several countries. Today he shares his academic work with art (www.patowinckler.cl).
